It alerts you when to replace the cartridge with the built-in filter replacement indicator on the lid. The filter reduces bad taste and odor, aesthetic chlorine taste and odor, Mercury, Copper, Zinc, and Particulate Class VI. The pitcher features a unique space saving design, an ergonomically designed handle for easy pouring, and a spout cover to prevent refrigerator odor transfer into the pitcher.
